We now move to the summer of 1915 - there is a year without entries. There is an important correspondence between Jung and Hans Schmid and in the books a return of Philemon. From this point on Jung does not try to analyze and interpret the symbols but to understand what the symbols are trying to say. The symbols that are analyzed for meaning are destroyed by that process. The symbols represent the mystery of life and they are secrets that are to be kept. Jung wants to find a way through the unconscious.
