Jung continues his learning with his soul. New characters emerge: Phanes, Atmavictu, Ha, Ka, the black bird, a divine Arab youth, the spirit of gravity, and Wotan. The question becomes what is the right relation to the higher powers, how to maintain a human perspective.  Perhaps man is to be the mediator as God transforms. {see Jung’s Answer to Job.Jung begins his attempt to translate his fantasies into a vocabulary suitable for a medical-scientific audience. He recognized certain types that recurred: the shadow, the wise old man, the child, the mother, the maiden, the anima and the animus. Jung also developed a language for his own cosmology and mythology. Shamdasani says as this is developed in the Black Books it is also reflected in Jung’s published works. Jung also has a calligraphic book for the expression of his active imagination as paintings. They are found in the Liber Novus but are more related to Books 6 and 7 of the Black Books.
