This entry is the tale of a dream encounter with Elijah and Salome. Salome is presented as the daughter of Elijah. Jung does not understand how this is possible. Elijah tells Jung that Salome loved John [the baptist]. Salome asks Jung if he loves her. Jung is in doubt about what to do. The dream ends with Jung asking if he must love Salome.
